Bike Tour | PA to VA | Part 3

That was enough fuel to get me into Richmond where I met up with Crandall and hung out with Wormz, Kenny, Latnay, and Christian. It was good being amongst friends again. It was my first time in Richmond, and I was definitely impressed. It is truly a chill city, with great food and friendly people. We saw some rad metal bands and got drunk as hell. Wormz even puked, it was an awesome night! Crandall, Wormz, and I spent Saturday eating, swimming in James River, and hanging out at the trails and at Wormz, Alina, and Niko's place. It was as relaxing as could be, and an excellent way to end my time on the road.

That night at 12:45am I caught the Chinatown bus back to NYC. I tried to sleep most of the way, and did actually catch some rest when I wasn't being woken by this big dude behind me, who was snoring and then freestyle rapping. We crept out of the Holland tunnel and back into NYC sometime around 6:30am on Sunday. I grabbed my bike from under the bus and cranked over the Williamsburg bridge, snapped a few early morning photos, cruised to Greenpoint and crawled into bed with Jen, who I think was still drunk from the night before. We layed around most of the day, it was nice, even though whatever that was, is now over. The following week, I started a new full time job at Fast Ashley's Studios, and couldn't be happier...

Thanks to all my friends and family who made this possible. I'm not really sure how many miles I rode in total or each day, and don't really care. It was a great experience though and hope to be able to do something similar soon. Live young, stay young.
